"The technician walked me through what the camera found in plain language, and I had the full video in my inbox the same day. No scare tactics, no pressure to sign anything on the spot."

Sewer Camera Inspections That Show What's Wrong
Every LiningWorks sewer repair starts the same way: a licensed technician runs a high-definition camera through your line and shows you, on screen, exactly what's causing the problem before any repair method gets recommended.
Tell us what's going on
The first call costs nothing. Flat-rate pricing. No upsells, ever.
DIAGNOSIS FIRST
Why we run a camera before recommending any repair.
A camera inspection turns a guess into a diagnosis. We feed a waterproof, high-resolution camera through your cleanout and walk it the full length of the line, from the house to the city tap, while the picture plays on a monitor right beside you.
You will not hear us describe a problem you cannot see. Every crack, root mass, low spot, or corroded section shows up on the screen as we go, and we call out the distance from the cleanout in feet.
Every camera inspection is logged and recorded from the first foot to the last. You leave with the video and a written summary of exactly what the camera found, so you are choosing a repair, not guessing at one.
If the camera shows a sound line, that is what we tell you. We do not recommend digging, lining, or patching anything until we have actually seen what is happening underground.

SEE REAL FOOTAGE
Watch a real inspection from start to finish.
Footage from an actual Charlotte residential job, not a manufacturer's demo reel. Watch the camera go in at the cleanout and travel the line the same way it will on your inspection.
WHAT THE CAMERA FINDS
Four defects a camera inspection catches that a plunger never will.
These four defects cause most of the sewer repair calls we get across Charlotte, Greensboro, and Winston-Salem. A camera inspection catches every one of them. A slow drain or a backup on its own will not tell you which one you have.
- Root intrusion at pipe jointsTree roots work into hairline cracks at pipe joints and grow into a full blockage over time. A camera inspection catches them while the fix is still simple.
- Bellied or sagging sectionsA low spot in the line holds water and waste, which leads to repeat backups. The camera measures exactly where the sag starts and how far it runs.
- Cracked or offset jointsCommon in older clay-tile lines around Winston-Salem and Greensboro. A camera inspection shows the crack plainly. From the surface, it looks like nothing more than a stubborn clog.
- Corroded cast-iron pipe wallsCast-iron pipe from the 1950s through the 1980s corrodes from the inside out. The outside gives no warning. A camera inspection shows the wall thinning before it fails.
WHAT TO EXPECT
What to Expect During a Sewer Camera Inspection
A LiningWorks camera inspection usually wraps up in under an hour. Nothing about the visit is designed to pressure you into signing a repair contract before you have had time to think it over.
1. Tell us what you're seeing over the phone
2. One technician, one truck, one visit
3. Watch the screen right alongside us
4. Take home the video and the write-up

The Camera Found the Problem and Confirmed the Repair
This Plaza Midwood home was built in 1924 with cast-iron pipe running under the slab. Our first camera inspection turned up two cracked sections and a root mass right where the line meets the city tap. After we lined the full run, a follow-up camera inspection confirmed every joint was sealed.
WHAT SETS US APART
What makes our camera inspections different.
At LiningWorks, the camera inspection is the foundation of every job. Here's what that looks like in practice.
Licensed technicians, not subcontractors
Full video and a written report, same visit
